The 2003 Annual Leadership Conference in
Marco Island, Fla., presented the Deliver the Goods End User
Panel discussion which gave both the customers and suppliers in
the pallet industry an opportunity to learn from each other in a
question and answer format. Attendees had the opportunity to
learn about trends and about what needs to be provided to keep
their market share and improve their service of the unit load
industry. The third Annual Recognition Award at the Annual
Leadership Conference was presented to Basic American Foods.
In addition, for the first time in
its history, NWPCA introduced an Idea Contest at its Annual Leadership
Conference. The premise was for attendees to enter ideas that they have
implemented in their own businesses (or are planning to implement in the
near future) that can help members either make money or save money. NWPCA
would like to thank everyone who submitted ideas and all the
attendees who voted in the process. You all made the first-ever
Idea Contest a tremendous success.
